Lora is the newest addition to the RIPNS team. After graduating with a degree in business from Randolph-Macon College, Lora’s love for health and wellness led her to the field of nutrition, where she spent two years in a post-baccalaureate program studying traditional dietetics. It was during this time she learned about the field of functional and integrative medicine and found her true passion. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in human nutrition and functional medicine. Having experienced firsthand the powerfully healing effects holistic nutrition can have on the gut and overall health, she is eager to complete her master’s in order to better help others use food and lifestyle interventions to regain and maintain their health and vitality.
During her free time, Lora can be found spending time with her husband, talking all things health and nutrition with friends, or in the mountains on her family’s farm. If she’s indoors (and not studying for her classes) she’s likely trying something new in the kitchen.
